Punching & Stamping Process — Code 1903.1.0011 | Vinahardware
Overview
Process 1903.1.0011 at Vinahardware delivers industrial punching and stamping services for sheet metal components: hole punching, blanking, trimming, embossing, bending, tapping and other secondary operations. We combine in-house tool & die making with progressive die stamping and transfer pressing to support prototype runs, medium and large volume production for furniture fittings, brackets, frames, and industrial parts.
Capabilities
-
Technologies: single-station presses, multi-station progressive dies, transfer presses, hydraulic presses and turret presses. Secondary machining includes bending, thread tapping, riveting, deburring and light CNC finishing.
-
Materials: cold-rolled steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel (SUS304/316), aluminum, brass, zinc alloys.
-
Thickness range: typically 0.3 mm to ~6 mm depending on material and tooling.
-
Tolerances: positional tolerances and hole accuracy typically achievable in the range of ±0.1–0.3 mm depending on part geometry and tooling.
Workflow
-
Receive drawings & material spec; evaluate feasibility.
-
Design & manufacture tooling (progressive die or punch tool).
-
Run prototypes and approve samples.
-
Mass production with in-process inspection and secondary operations.
-
Final QC, surface treatment (if required) and packing for delivery.
Quality & Traceability
-
Dimensional inspection using gauges, calipers and CMM when required. Batch QC reports and sample photography included. We support customer-specified AQL sampling plans and can provide PPAP-level documentation for critical applications.
Lead Time & MOQ
-
Tooling/setup dependent; sample tooling and trial runs typically 3–10 days; mass production lead time 7–30 days depending on complexity and volume. MOQ varies by product and tooling cost.
